Terms and Conditions

By placing a booking with Vride (Glonass Pty Ltd), the Customer or the Hirer acknowledges that they have read, understood and agree to accept the Terms and Conditions as detailed below.
In the following terms and conditions:
- “the Company” refers to Vride (Glonass Pty Ltd), its subsidiaries, brands or identities under which the Company may trade.
- “the Customer / the Hirer” refers to the person and/or organisation making the booking.
- “the Driver” refers to the driver(s), the coach operator or supplier of the vehicle.
The Company provides a transport booking and management service, working closely with operators licensed by the appropriate authority in each jurisdiction. The Company manages the booking process, allocation of bookings to operators, and service quality. Operators are responsible for providing vehicles and drivers compliant with licensing obligations and Company standards.

Application
These Standard Terms and Conditions apply whether verbal or written and come into effect immediately once the Company accepts a booking. The Hirer remains responsible for the acts and omissions of passengers.
2.
Pricing and Quotations
All prices are valid for 7 days and subject to vehicle availability. Prices may vary due to fuel surcharges, tolls, taxes, or regulatory changes. Amendments such as vehicle size or extra stops may alter pricing.
3.
Payment
Full payment is required 7 days prior to travel unless otherwise agreed in writing. Deposits are non-refundable. Failure to pay may result in cancellation or forfeiture. Credit card payments may incur fees.
4.
Invoices
Invoices must be paid within 7 days unless agreed otherwise. Overdue invoices accrue interest at 3% above the Reserve Bank of Australia base rate.
5.
Booking Confirmations and Amendments
It is the Customer’s responsibility to check confirmations. Amendments are only valid when confirmed in writing by the Company. Drivers cannot authorise amendments.
6.
Customer Service
Complaints must be made in writing within 30 days of travel. Remedies are at the Company’s discretion. Disputes may be referred to mediation.
7.
Additional Charges and Surcharges
Hire price excludes tolls, ferries, parking, admission fees unless agreed. Extra costs (damage, cleaning, overtime, driver accommodation) are the Hirer’s responsibility.
8.
Vehicle Photographs
Photographs are indicative only. Actual vehicle make/model may vary.
9.
Luggage and Passenger Numbers
Baggage allowances must be respected. Excess baggage may be refused. Hirer must ensure accurate passenger details at booking.
10.
Cancellation by Hirer
All cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by the Company.
- 20% of the total booking amount if cancelled for any reason (non-refundable deposit).
- 25% of the total booking amount if cancelled with 7 business days’ notice but not less than 96 business hours.
- 50% of the total booking amount if cancelled with less than 96 business hours’ notice but not less than 48 hours.
- 100% of the total booking amount if cancelled with less than 48 business hours’ notice.
Note: Cancellation of an event or “reason for travel” does not affect liability for cancellation fees.
11.
Cancellation by the Company
If unable to provide service due to emergency or operational issues, the Company may cancel and refund payments without further liability.
12.
Purpose of Journey
The Company must be notified of bookings for sporting, political, or festival events. Failure to notify may result in cancellation without refund.
13.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond their control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions).
14.
Use of the Vehicle
The Hirer cannot assume use of the vehicle between journeys unless agreed in writing. Additional charges apply for overtime or extra mileage.
15.
Change of Vehicle
The Company may subcontract or replace vehicles. If a larger vehicle is provided, no extra cost applies unless passenger numbers increase.
16.
Route
Unless specified, routes are at the Driver’s discretion. Traffic and weather may affect travel. No liability for late arrival at events.
17.
Breakdown or Delay
The Company is not liable for delays due to breakdowns, traffic, weather, or other uncontrollable factors.
18.
Driver’s Hours
Driver rest periods are strictly regulated. The Hirer must ensure schedules comply with legal driving hours.
19.
Property & Baggage
Baggage limits apply. The Company is not responsible for loss/damage to luggage. Valuables should not be left on vehicles.
20.
Passenger Conduct
Passengers must behave responsibly. Drivers may refuse or remove passengers for misconduct. The Hirer is liable for damage caused.
21.
Alcohol, Tobacco or Drug Consumption
Alcohol (opened), smoking, and illegal substances are prohibited. Breaches may result in termination of service without refund.
22.
Limitation of Liability
The Company’s liability is limited to the booking value, except in cases of death or injury caused by negligence.
23.
Animals
Only registered assistance dogs are permitted unless otherwise agreed in writing. Conditions may apply for safe transport.
24.
Enforceability
If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining Terms remain enforceable.
25.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
26.
Privacy and Data Protection
The Company complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Personal data is used only for service provision and may be shared with trusted providers. See Privacy Policy for details.
